As a certified consultant for sustainable, vegetable, herb, and native gardens, I draw from two decades of professional cooking experience to empower individuals in cultivating their own kitchen gardens. My transition from chef to educator reflects my belief that everyone should have the opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the benefits of homegrown produce. A serene oasis, my personal raised bed vegetable garden is a welcoming space filled with vibrant greens and colorful blooms. INestled among fruit trees, it serves as a tranquil retreat for all who visit. It was created from an idea I had one year before undergoing major surgery- I should start a small garden. Now three years later, I’m a Chef who now grows her own foods, herbs and flowers. Passionate about sharing knowledge, I invite others to explore the joys of gardening in small spaces, fostering a community dedicated to sustainable growth and connection with nature.
My motivation for offering garden consulting services stems from a deep-rooted passion for gardening and a desire to share its benefits with others, particularly those in small spaces. I believe that everyone, regardless of their living situation, can experience the joys of gardening. Small-space gardening cultivates not only plants but also creativity and a sense of accomplishment. Many individuals desire to grow their own food or create a green sanctuary but often feel limited by their space, budget, or knowledge.
